Overall, if you are staying in the Scottsdale area, give it a look! Also, the health club on the 14th floor has great views but isn't the best in terms of equipment. The downside is that you do have to walk through the casino to get to the hotel tower but for the price and the amazing room I didn't have a real problem with that.
I would call before leaving my room and my car would be waiting for once I got downstairs. In addition, they offer free valet service. It was half the price of the hotel my conference was being held at, yet I didn't feel I gave up any luxury or comfort at all. The main reason I booked at the Talking Stick was the price. They gave the room a very nice look and worked great. One other very nice touch in the room was wood blinds.
Beautiful tile everywhere and an amazing walk in shower. Also the bathroom is one of the nicest I have ever seen in a hotel. The rooms were very modern and comfortable. Stayed at the Talking Stick while in town for a conference at a chain hotel near by.
